CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Kenyatta University Council wishes to invite applications from eminent individuals who are suitably qualified and experienced with outstanding work perfomance and relevant administrative experience for the following positions;

1. REGISTRAR (FINANCE AND DEVELOPMENT)

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Be a holder of an earned Ph.D. degree or equivalent from a reputable University.
  • Candidates with training in Economics, Business Management, Procurement, Building and Construction, Building Economics and Project Planning will have added advantage.
  • Must be at least a Senior Lecturer or equivalent.
  • Applicants should have at least five (5) years proven administrative work experience at a senior level, in a reputable institution of higher learning.
  • Have knowledge and skills in planning, developing and implementing strategic plans.

2. REGISTRAR (ACADEMIC)

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Be a holder of an earned Ph.D. degree or equivalent from a reputable University.
  • Must have served at least  as a chair of an Academic Department.
  • Must be at least a Senior Lecturer or equivalent.
  • Applicants should have at least five (5) years proven administrative work experience at senior level, in a reputable institution of higher learning.
  • Have a good internationally recognized scholarly record.
  • Have knowledge and skills in planning, developing and implementing strategic plans.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the education system in Kenya and in-depth understanding of University Education.

3. REGISTRAR (CORPORATE AFFAIRS)

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Be a holder of an earned Ph.D. degree or equivalent from a reputable University.
  • Candidates with training in communication,marketing, public relations and journalism will have added advantage.
  • Must be at least a Senior Lecturer or equivalent.
  • Applicants should have at least five (5) years proven administrative work experience at senior level, in a reputable institution of higher learning.
  • Have knowledge and skills in planning and directing corporate communication programs that can create and maintain a favorable University image.

4. REGISTRAR (ADMINISTRATION)

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Be a holder of an earned Ph.D. degree or equivalent from a reputable University.
  • Must be at least a Senior Lecturer or equivalent.
  • Applicants should have at least five (5) years proven administrative work experience at senior level, in a reputable institution of higher learning.
  • Have knowledge and skills in planning, developing and implementing strategic plans.
  • Must have outstanding professional competence in Administration and Management of human resources.

TERMS OF SERVICE:
The terms of Service for these positions is Four (4) year renewable contract subject to satisfactory performance.
A competitive remuneration package which includes basic salary, generous house allowance, medical cover as per University Scheme, Leave allowance and Official transport will be  provided.
